We are seeking a friendly, professional Waiter/Waitress to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders accurately, and delivering exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities & Duties
Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, present menus, and make recommendations for food and beverages.
Order Management: Take food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system (e.g., Toast, Revel), and communicate special dietary requirements to the kitchen.
Service: Serve food and drinks promptly and accurately.
Table Maintenance: Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen and support staff to ensure smooth service.
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized dining area, following all health and safety regulations.
Payments: Process cash and card payments accurately.
Requirements & Skills
Proven experience as a waiter or waitress preferred.
Hands-on experience with POS systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Physical stamina to stand/walk for long periods and carry heavy trays.
