Our client, based in a shopping mall in the center is looking for a barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, and tea, focusing on precision, latte art, and excellent customer service.
To manage the coffee bar, maintain equipment cleanliness, operate cash registers, and often handle inventory. Key responsibilities include creating a welcoming environment, educating customers on menu items, and working efficiently in fast-paced settings.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation: Craft espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and tea, consistently following recipes and quality standards.
Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, provide recommendations, and handle payments (cash/POS).
Maintenance & Hygiene: Clean equipment (espresso machines, grinders), sanitize work areas, and restock supplies.
Product Knowledge: Educate customers on menu items, brewing methods, and coffee blends.
Efficiency: Work quickly to meet high-volume demand, especially during morning or weekend rushes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Prior experience in food service or customer service is often preferred, but not always necessary if training is provided.
Knowledge: Understanding of coffee brewing methods and espresso equipment.
Interpersonal Skills: Friendly demeanor, communication skills, and ability to work in a team.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.
Flexibility: Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent./ NTC3 certificate
Food safety certification (often required or preferred).
