We are seeking a motivated and reliable Project Assistant to support the planning, coordination and execution of a new investment project in Mauritius. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive and capable of performing both administrative and field-related tasks within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling and reporting of project activities.
Conduct site visits, inspections and follow-ups with suppliers, contractors, authorities and internal departments.
Prepare minutes of meetings, project documentation, filing systems and progress dashboards.
Liaise with government agencies and private stakeholders regarding permits, licences, and compliance requirements.
Support procurement processes including quotations, purchase orders and supplier evaluations.
Maintain records in accordance with company policies and legal/regulatory compliance standards.
Provide general administrative support to ensure timely project execution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum HSC and ACCA level 1 (or equivalent).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good command of English and French (spoken and written).
Valid driving licence is an advantage (if site mobility is required).
Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
Remuneration: Rs 22-23k
Overtime, public holidays and Sunday work shall be compensated separately.
Normal working hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (or as per shift system agreed).
